Last week I was surfing around different interior blogs and websites for some inspiration for my kitchen. My own kitchen is shiny white against a grey wall, and although I love it, I was looking for a few ideas to make my kitchen a little bit less ‘design’ and a little more natural. I love adding wooden items to a white kitchen. It’s a pretty contrast and makes your kitchen feel more rustic. Also, displaying a few pots, jars or herb plants can do a lot for your kitchen. In my small apartment I don’t have a lot of room for it, but I’m gonna try to persuade my boyfriend to maybe hang up some shelves. I do think it adds a lot. And what I thought was a great idea is putting jars on a shelve, which are painted with chalkboard paint, and then put spices or pasta or rice in them!
