Outfit | White coat

White coat   /   Zara
Mint t-shirt   /   Zara
Faux leather pants   /   New Yorker
Shoes   /   River Island
Rose cuffs and perspex ring   /   H&M;
Yes, this coat is new. And yes, I’m on a shopping diet. But when I ran into this perfect white coat at Zara and it was on sale for just €15 (it was €130) I could’t not take it home with me. I love it’s simplicity and that’s it’s white instead of the usual clean black coat. So forgive me, but could you have resisted? Paired it quite simple with some black leather and mint, because I wanted it to shine like it should. And what better accessories than some rose gold cuffs and a perspex ring? I’m going for simplicity. White is the new black. Thoughts?

Hair Routine | No more bad hairdays

You might have seen me wearing a beanie quite often lately, and it was indeed because I’d been having quite a lot of bad hairdays (ok, and maybe a little because I’m really into beanies) Rain, cold, all no good for my hair. But now the beanie days are over, I have a new hair routine, and wanted to share it with you guys.
Obviously I just wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, but I now use products from the Sleek Mystique line from Tigi and my hair feels softer than ever. After blowdrying it, I use some Tigi Haute Iron Spray to protect my hair from the heat from my hair straightener, that I can’t live without. After straightening every hair I have (yes, indeed) I finish my hair with some Blow Out Balm to let it shine a little extra, and ready is my hair.
Since I’m using Tigi products I have not had a single bad hairday, really. This Sleek Mystique line is actually from their Catwalk Collection and is used at many shows during Fashion weeks in London, Paris, Milan and NY, so I guess I have my own little catwalk coupe now!
Keep an eye on the blog this week, I have a surprise for you :)
Tigi products are available at selected hair salons. There’s a salon finder on the website here.

Outfit | Printed Bomber

Bomberjacket with print   /   Ready to Fish via Muze
T-shirt   /   Zara
Pants   /   Nowhere via Nelly
Shoes   /   Zara
Tiny heart rings   /   River Island
Nails   /   OPI (Holland collection)
As I told you before, I’m so much digging the sports trend that’s going on right now. Especially since I get to wear comfy stuff in the streets. I’m so over the moon with this bomber jacket! Bombers are making their comeback, but in a new version and I fell for this one because of the print. It’s the perfect sporty but edgy addition to my wardrobe! But I must say, wearing sweatpants and a bomber at the same time did make me choose for some pointy high heels, one should not overdo sports and look like coming right out of the gym. So heels and sweatpants it is. And very matching nails, of course. What do you think?

Diary | Unlimited PR and new favorites

A little peek of what I’ve been doing last week, next to studying, going to classes, working and blogging of course =)
1. Had a great afternoon at the Unlimited PR Showroom where they had these delicious Cake Pops from Cupcake Boutiq
2. Was nice to meet all the bloggers again, and some I hadn’t met before. Unlimited PR did a great job on organizing all kinds of fun activities that day! Thanks!
3. Really liked this Aztec print sporty bag from Pieces that was in the U-PR showroom.
4. There was a Mac artist who gave Joyce the most incredible green lips, looked sooo cool!
5. Having some homemade croissants on a lazy sunday morning with the BF.
6. My new printed bomberjacket from Ready to Fish via Muze. I was looking for a printed bomber jacket after seeing so many street style pics from the latest fashion weeks, they were everywhere! I think someone must have known, because not much later I ran into this love. Will show you the rest of this outfit tomorrow!
7. My favorite nail polishes of the moment, from the OPI Holland collection: Did you ‘ear about van Gogh, Thanks a Windmillion, and I don’t give a Rotterdam.
8. My sweet little cat, that is such a big part of my life that you might see her on the blog every now and then. She even helps me pick out outfits by throwing clothes out of the closet.

Outfit | Oversized

Coat   /   Day Birger et Mikkelsen via Muze
Top   /   Nelly
Jeans   /   Nudie
Belt   /   Chasin (stolen from BF)
Shoes   /   Nelly
Beanie   /   ASOS
Cross bangle   /   Fashionology
Nails   /   OPI Did you ‘ear about van Gogh
So in love with this boucle oversized coat (from here) with a huuuuge hoodie. I love wearing pieces that are different in a way, and the fit really works for me here. Ever since I cleaned out my wardrobe and found out I have a Lot (with a big L) of basics, I’m intro statement items that can spice up my wardrobe.
Also, I found this beanie that had been in my closet for over a year and really rediscovered it, hooked on beanies! So tell me, how do you feel about my look? Happy sunday lovelies!

Never Published + New Outfit

Another Never Published post, showing you the goofy pictures of my outfits that I don’t post. My boyfriend and I have a lot of fun during shooting my outfits, and we mess around a lot, which results in ending up with pictures like these. Also, the last pictures show an outfit you’ve never seen before, because I shot them a few weeks ago when there was still snow but somehow totally forgot all about them! Not that is was such a special look but I really like the combination of black and cream, leather and knits, and my favorite biker jacket. I’d love to hear your thoughts, do you like seeing these never published goofy pictures or were they never published for a reason? ;) Happy friday lovelies!

Love | Topshop Unique Fall 2012

My absolute favorite from the Fall 2012 collections that have been showed the past few weeks in NY and London, is definitely Topshop Unique. Topshop really surprised me here, showing a very grown up, serious and edgy collection. I’m loving the layers, the shapes, the long coats, the biker jackets, and especially that lammy coat. I would not at all mind owning this whole collection, and it’s not often that I actually like everything about a collection (Acne was a bit of a bummer for me this season, for instance). Luckily Topshop Unique doesn’t have crazy designer prizes (yet) so who knows what Fall 2012 will bring! Can’t wait, especially since Fall is my favorite season.
