Obsession | Chains

I have developed what is now pretty much an obsession for chains (as in: jewelry, for those of you who might think whatever). It all started with the chain ID bracelet that was such a good budget option for the Celine ID bracelet, but chains are everywhere now. And since I’m currently ‘in between jobs’, I had to go look for my chains in budget friendly places and boy could I find them. I really needed some new bling added to my jewelry collection and went for chains all the way! Happy Friday!

Outfit | In with the new.

Making my wardrobe fall proof part 1 has succeeded, partly by finding this amazing long biker coat. Although it’s too thin to be a real winter coat, it’s perfect for the start of fall, even though it’s kind of still summer. You’ll probably get tired of me saying this but I’m just all fall minded and can’t even come up with summer outfits anymore. Which will be a huge problem when I go to Tuscany (Italy) in 2,5 weeks. But for now I’m just pretending it’s already coat weather (and bearing my legs to not be all too hot). Love this skirt by the way that I got at H&M Trend this week, I actually loved almost everything from the current Trend collection! Another obsession: chains. Luckily there are some pretty good budget versions out there. What I’m less excited about: my shoe collection is very much missing something. Hence the always-good-but-not-that-exciting-Conversies. I’m not sure what it is yet but I’ll figure it out. Tonight I’m going to the WEEKDAY store opening in Amsterdam by the way, excited!!

New in | Fall coats, underwear and vintage

Welcome to my closet, two new coats, a gorgeous set of underwear and a very pretty new jacket. My closet needs much updating for fall and here I have started.
The first coat, a long black biker coat with faux leather sleeves, I found yesterday at River Island. It’s the perfect Sandro-ish coat for when my fall outfits can need a bit of rock-chic mixed into it. Thank you Oona!
Then there’s a beyond gorgeous oversized navy wool coat from Esprit that I got at the collection presentation last week. I told you before that I’m very into oversized silhouettes lately and this coat is just the one I hadn’t even start looking for. Can’t wait to wear this all the time. Thank you CO/motion PR! Is it fall yet?
Then there’s a very very pretty set of underwear which I can’t show you while wearing (you know, morals and all ;))  but is so worth showing. Mesh in the right places and it’s actually made from bamboo! How cool is that? I love how they make sustainable and fashionable underwear at the same time. Check out Underprotection Sustainable Underwear (from Kopenhagen!) for more.
And last but not least there is a gorgeous jacket with shiny green flower print that I found at Doortje Vintage. It’s really one of my favorite online vintage stores since they have so much choice, the photography is really good and even though I’m not that good at vintage shopping I always seem to find something I like at Doortje.
So how do you like my new buys? Have you started building your fall wardrobe yet?

Outfit | The Greens

Note to self: Stop buying things green. Then on the other hand: green is the new blue.. Anyways I have a real obsession with green (mainly this color green) and decided last week that I needed some green python strap heels in my life. You know, just because (and they are on sale). Green goes so well with black white and grey and does color up my outfits so yes, I’d say case justified. And they’re just pretty, right? This is what I was wearing yesterday. Pretty basic and casual but this schizophrenic weather confuses my fashion sense. Is it dry? Is it raining? Is it cold or hot? I wasn’t all too inspired but luckily, a lace skull tee, some ripped jeans and python heels are a good casual monday option. What do you think?

Outfit | All Eyes On Me

All eyes on me. Literally though, since I’m not only wearing a sweater with very cool illustrated eye print, but also an evil eye necklace and bracelet. Not sure what it is with eyes but they seem to make a pretty good theme lately. I’m really into printed sweaters, because a grey sweat is just a sweat but when it’s watching you it’s so much more interesting! I wear these leopard trousers a lot by the way, they’re so comfy! Went for a sporty casual look yesterday since well, it’s weekend and although that sometimes means making an effort, sometimes it also means comfort before all. That’s it for now since I’m being a die hard blogger preparing this post at 4.30 am Saturday night and can hardly keep my eyes open. Enjoy your Sunday!

Thursday at Esprit and River Island

On Thursday I went to see the River Island Christmas collection for this winter hosted by Oona. A great event with lots of clothing displayed. As you can see it’s all baroque for River Island this party season. Lots of gold, embellishments and shiny stuff! My favorite look is the last one on the right, I really like the coat and that necklace is amaaaazing!

But there was another fun event that day: I got to see the Esprit winter collection at CO/motion PR, and it was really good! Faux leather green trousers, a lot of amazing coats and jackets.. I even got to pick out a great oversized wool coat that I’m going to wear so much this fall.. I’ll show you soon!
Happy Weekend!
