Outfit | Cobalt Blue

Again the weather forces me to admit that these pictures were taken last Sunday, when the sun was still shining which unfortunately is not the case this whole week. I found a super comfy silky pair of trousers at H&M Trend on sale that are just perfect and I felt like wearing them in a chic way. The navy goes perfectly well with this cobalt blue blouse. I also wore my new Nelly heels, the perfect black pumps if you ask me and even though they are ‘inspired’ by a certain pair of last year’s Zara heels I might like these better because they’re not that high and very well walkable. I’m off to press day mania today, be sure to follow me on Twitter to catch a glimpse of new collections and press day fun!

Just Ordered

Just placed a huge order on ASOS! I won a competition last week and my price was a gift voucher so yay to free shopping! All of these I had already spotted a while ago though… Two pretty basic jumpers to go well with two not so basic trousers: checked palazzo pants and leopard trackpants. Than very cute blue jumper and a white leather skirt that I really can’t wait to wear. And a pom pom beanie because I needed that in my life and 3 rings. I also ordered a fur which is not shown here and I let my boyfriend order some stuff as well because I’m a good girlfriend :).. So how do you like my buys?

Here’s where to find them (left to right):
Color block jumper / Bright leopard jumper / Rib jumper with hem details
Wide leg trousers in check / Vila white leather skirt (on sale) / Leopard oversized trackpants
Textured pom beanie / Pack of 3 double bar rings

5 Things I Love

5 things I love right now:

1. Maison Martin Margiela for H&M. But who isn’t excited? LOVE these oversized jeans on Sandra from 5 Inch and up.
2. Simplicity, cleanliness, simple details. Here done very well by Topshop Unique SS13.
3. Big chunky coats. With shearling or even a faux fur. And this super cute girl from Chaloth.se.
4. Elin Kling for Guess by Marciano. Oh, the two knits..
5. My new Nelly heels. And simple, easy but edgy manicures. All I have time for right now :)

Outfit | Something Old, Something New

Hello from my bed, where I plan to spend all sunday morning! It’s really cold outside which I actually really like, but you must look at the outfit above and think: bare legs? Let me explain. I often take pictures of my outfit a little in advance, just because sometimes it turns out I won’t have time to shoot later and I just always want to be sure that I have an outfit to show you. This is what I was wearing Sunday last week when it was 21 degrees outside and I just didn’t get to posting it earlier. But I think those were the last bare legs of the season!
So about my outfit. It’s quite much a trend (or maybe just blogger trend) to wear a skater skirt with knee high boots. It just seems to work so great and I really felt more feminine than usual wearing this girly skirt. Which is of course why I felt like compensating at the top: wearing a sweater and quilted bomber jacket which I feel tone down the girly-ness a bit. I still loooove these boots, they’re so comfy and I feel like they’re quite timeless not having fringes or any other things on it that might bore me after a season. Anyways, this is my version of wearing the skater skirt an I hope you’ll like it! Enjoy your Sunday!

Outfit | On My Way

Winter is coming! It’s getting colder every day but that also means it’s time for cozy knitted scarfs and warm coats. This is what I was wearing yesterday when Debbie and I went to the Simply PR press day and a very fun Fashiolista party! It’s a typical outfit for when I go to Amsterdam for ‘business’. I tend to walk almost everywhere I go because I really like walking so there’s actually never any heels involved. Who can catch the train or last all day walking on 13 cm heels right? I wore 2 of my purple favorites: the sneakers and the scarf that was much needed. I’m still in a bit of a comfort mood as I’ve been for the last couple of days so it’s quite a simple outfit but I still love this long biker coat and purple accessories can do much, if you ask me. I’m off again, lots of work to do today! Happy Friday!

Purple Favorites

Not really a surprise to my followers that I have an obsession for purple. These are at the moment my purple favorites: super comfy and thick scarf from Weekday, necklace from H&M, nail polish from OPI and very old Onitsuka Tiger sneakers. What’s your color obsession?

Outfit | Casual Wednesday

One of those days. On which you don’t feel like dressing up. Or don’t even feel like getting dressed. Or being a fashion blogger. That hardly ever happens but really rarely it does. This was one of those days. I was standing in front of my closet full of beautiful clothes and trying to figure out something exciting to wear when I realized all I wanted to do was put on my favorite pair of jeans, a pair of sneakers, any comfy warm sweater and a jacket. Basic dressing, no thought for trends or what’s new or anything like that. When I do have days like those I don’t really tell or show you guys but I felt like doing it now just because opening up is always better then keeping it in, right? And in the end, my I-don’t-feel-like-getting-dressed look turned out not that dramatically bad after all. Maybe it’s not fashion forward but this is also what I wear, sometimes :). Love these sneakers by the way!  So comfy and love the burgundy leather and suede texture.
