Outfit | Thoughtless Dressing
I wouldn’t be dishonest if I would say that I just throw on something everyday and don’t over-think my outfits. I’m actually very much an over-thinker when it comes to dressing. I always want every little detail to match, every garment with hardware has to have silver hardware to match my ever-present silver jewelry, my nail polish can not mismatch with my outfit or it has to be removed.. I can go on like this for ever: colors have to go well together because I’m not that good in color or print-clashing, I can’t wear all colors out there because they don’t match the purple glow in my hair color.. I’m a bit of a control-freak, yes. But what you see above, is as good as thoughtless dressing gets for me. This is literally something I threw on because I’ve been feeling a bit uninspired and that seems to always go along with either baggy jeans or sweatpants and leather jackets because you can just never go wrong with those. Of course I knew the white comes back in my shoes and there’s always a bit of (unconscious) thinking and matching that goes into what I wear – but let’s just say this could have used a bit more thought. It will not make it in my ‘best outfits of the year’ post of 2013. It’s not fashion-forward or trendsetting in any way. It’s just what I felt like putting on yesterday morning and I decided to shoot it because I had no other outfit to show you. I’m not on top of my game and it annoys me a lot (hence the slight pessimistic undertone of this whole store, big sorry for that) but I’m working on it and I will be back in full swing soon. Probably. Hopefully.

Maar het staat je heerlijk meis! Ik denk eigenlijk nooit na over of mijn outfit wel fashionforward genoeg is..? Deed ik ooit wel, maar toen ik dat losliet, werden mn outfits eigenlijk beter (en meer mij). Goed, heel verhaal: ik vind je prachtig :)

I LOVE that jacket..and you are right about your throw on look..you can’t go wrong.
I usually find inspiration on Tumbler when I am lacking it..it isn’t always easy to find..but even a slight change like adding an unexpected printed layer can help me get out of my funk..it happens to all of us!

Ik heb hetzelfde! Ik draag meestal zwart/wit/grijs plus één kleur, nooit meerdere printjes, en hardware moet altijd matchen met mijn juwelen!
Leuke outfit trouwens, simpel maar het past.

Heerlijk jasje! Heb het eigenlijk ook wel een beetje, but I blame december. We hebben toen zo vaak zo hard na moeten denken over wat we wel of juist niet moesten dragen dat het nu even niet helemaal vanzelf gaat allemaal. Good thought right?! ;)

I was gonna order them (cause our zara shop here doesn’t have them in stock) but Im not sure about the size..
Its ok to be uninspired from time to time I think. Otherwise the Inspirational days wouldn’t be anything special anymore :-)

ik vind het wel een leuke outfit; en zo zorg je voor afwisseling in hetgeen je publiceert! Al vind ik het er wel zomers uitzien, vanwege de lichte kleuren.

Balen als dat gebeurt he: inspiratieloos zijn! Mij helpt het altijd om even met heel iets anders aan de slag te gaan. Ff helemaal niets moeten (alleen: waar blijft de tijd :S!) en iets in het interieur veranderen bv. Lekker kneuterig haha ;)
