Some randoms from my vacation in Bali. Gosh I wish I could teleport myself back to the beaches, palm trees and tropical fruits right now!
I’m having surgery today and will be in the hospital for the rest of the week so the blog might be updated a little less (or not because I’m a control freak and love blogging so much that I prepared posts and learnt my boyfriend how to post them) and you might not find me on social media as often as you usually do. For those of you who are really interested though, make sure to follow me on instagram since I will probably update that – because I’m too much of an ig-addict not to. Anyways, I want to thank you for all the support and promise to be back soon, but I actually hope you won’t really notice I’m gone ;) See you soon!

At ASOS HQ (+ movie!)

-.

I hope you’re reading this before viewing the video, haha. Let me explain. I was at ASOS HQ in London Tuesday which was a super cool experience! There’s so much behind that one website, you can’t even imagine. I got a tour through the offices and shooting areas and saw the SS13 ASOS collection and after that had a really great lunch, it was amazing. There are so many things going on there, so many people and so many good looking and creative people as well. Did you know they have about 200 womenswear buyers only? That’s huge! Everything just breathes fashion, and there are clothes everywhere, I loved it. So in the first few pictures you see a few snaps from models that are showing looks – they shoot a huge amount of looks per day, each model has 2 minutes to shoot a look and then 4 minutes for the catwalk video, that’s crazy fast right? Picture 5, 6 and 7 show the ASOS SS13 collection which looked really good and fun and colorful, I can’t wait for it to hit the shop. And then just before I left they asked me: oh would you like to shoot your own catwalk video? It’s a supercool experience and fun to have your own ASOS video so obviously I said yes, but I’m not a model at all so the video looks super awkward and I had no idea what to do haha. So even though the video looks really weird and I walk way to slow and I look so awkward, it’s cool to have one anyway I guess. Thanks ASOS for the super fun day!

I was wearing ASOS jumper (on sale now!), ASOS jeans and Acne boots.
By the way, did you see SALE started on ASOS? I’ll do a post with my sale favorites very soon when I get back from London!

Tuscany on Instagram

A little diary of what my vacation looks like! Here’s what you’re looking at:

- Strolling down cute little italian streets in a sporty comfy outfit, and the Tuscan hills are so photogenic, love it!
- Having lunch in Rome, and my new Hexnut necklace from We Want.
- A day at the beach! I love the beach, unfortunately the weather isn’t that great that week so that might have been the last time..
- 2 snaps from the gorgeous Firenze.
- Chilling at the poolside at the resort, and an ultra basic poolday outfit.
- Wearing my new trousers and boots, and a very cool ring I bought in Rome.
- At the gorgeous Luisa Via Roma store in Firenze, and the pool in the resort at night.

I love Italy, and so far my stay here is quite enjoyable and peaceful, but I’m also kind of looking forward to go home on Friday, back to my man, cats and own bed! But I guess that comes with every vacation, right?

On Arrival

Arrived in the gorgeousness and serenity of Tuscany yesterday in a beautiful resort in pretty much the quiet middle of nowhere, and I’m loving it already. So here’s what I look like after spending two days in a car with a comfy travel outfit. Must be a bit of a letdown considering all the fashionable London action that is going on right now (and which I’m unfortunately missing out on) but I’m trying not to care too much. After all, I’m on vacation, right? So what am I missing?

Packing for Italy

Just a quick little update since I’m super busy packing for Tuscany, arranging everything that needs to be arranged before I leave, getting the last few things at the drugstore (can’t leave without nail polish remover now can I?), sorting out which outfits and shoes (help!) to bring, and then also preparing tomorrow’s blogpost (which will include me in all lilac, not even kidding) and preparing for tonight’s party. A bit overwhelming but I’m very excited to leave for Tuscany, Italy tomorrow morning with my mom and dad! I’m all ready for two weeks of sun and good italian food, and we’ll also go to Rome and Florence and Pisa and the beach, so don’t worry about me ;) My mum was the best and arranged a place to stay with Wifi so hopefully that works well and I can keep you updated on what I wear, shop and see! TGIF!

A few more snaps from Lisboa

I wanted to show you a few more Lisboa pics worth sharing, since I still had quite a few left and we managed to capture a few pretty shots of sights like the pretty village and coast of Cascais and Cabo di Roca (last picture), apparently the most western point of Europe. Also two tourist outfits haha, please don’t mind my hair but I didn’t have a hair dryer all week and that turned out to be killing. I’m still in bed feeling sick, which I very much hate since it’s my boyfriends birthday today. So happy birthday to my love and photographer without whom I’d probably wouldn’t even have a blog! Now it’s time for carrot cake and celebrations! What are you doing this weekend?

Lisboa through Instagram

Warning: picture overload! Thought I’d share a few instasnaps from my vacation so far, since I’m sharing nearly everything picture worthy on Instagram lately (follow me @lovelybylucy). So here’s all the pretty stuff:
Of course, there’s a lot of beach time involved, which is not bad at all at the pretty beaches of Cascais. We also visited a few sights like the parks and castles at Sintra. And I thought I’d be bold and wear leo on leo. Love it!

More beach time, I guess I never get tired of the beach! I was still wearing my tie dye bikini top then, but a few minutes after this picture at snapped (after wearing it only 3 times!) so I had to go find a new one. That’s when I also found this very cool flower printed tee at H&M! And my new favorite pineapple coconut drink. Soooo good!

At a shopping mall we found the cutest little cupcake stand that had all kinds of way too cute cupcakes like these cookie monsters! Too cute to eat, if you ask me. And then there’s Zara, that is totally on top of their game right now with a great and huge collection and being cheaper in Portugal I really can’t resist.. Can you blame me? On the bottom right there’s the new bikini top I found on sale for just 6 euros at H&M, score!

We ran into the cutest (and tiniest) bar ever the other day! Andd I can’t stop eating seafood here, so good! Besides looking a bit decayed and not smelling very nice, Lisboa has a few parts of the city, like this one (down left). And me and my mirrored sunnies.
That’s it for now, I’m off to the beach AGAIN, am I boring you yet? ;)
Kisses from Lisboa!
