Purple haze

purple spring 2017 trend shop lilac jumper bomber

Yes, currently a little high on purple. I don’t always get swept away by trends but I’m really feeling this new trend color. It’s mysterious, not very common and it works really well with my usual favorites, black and grey. So I’ve been checking out some things purple online and above are my favorites. How cool is that purple puffer jacket? Shop below.

Knee high

There’s no way of getting around it (although I’d love for there to be a way) but fall is coming. Us girls, we might as well prepare. So what are we wearing this fall? One trend not to miss is the over the knee boot, that is everywhere. We might have Kim Kardashians questionable looks to thank for that, but luckily there are some very tasteful pairs out there.
I guess the knee high boot isn’t for everyone, it does create a bit of a daring look. I’ve been thinking about them all week and whether I’m going to make the trend my own or not. Still not sure! Would you wear them?

Summer straps

summer strappy black sandals footwear 2016 trend

My number 1 footwear for this (hopefully very hot and long) summer is definitely the strappy sandal. A trending piece of footwear, that is seen everywhere at the moment. I love adding some refined detail to a basic summer look by adding some straps to my feet. They are casual, but lend themselves well for any occasion, whether you pair them with a cute summer dress or underneath baggy leather pants. This is definitely the replacement of the slide, last year’s hit. These are some of my favorites out there at the moment. I really like the first, quite basic ones but those from River Island are pretty cool as well. Do you already own a pair?

Wishlist / off shoulder

off shoulder tops

Since it’s almost spring, it’s also almost time to bare some skin again. I can’t wait, so many skirts I have that look way better without tights underneath. What will also be bare this spring and summer are shoulders. It’s the go to sophisticated sexy look, baring one or two shoulders and I love it. I have my eye on these two tops, that look both edgy and sophisticated. Can’t really decide between the two of them but I definitely know I’ll be baring some shoulders very soon in one of these!

Soft pink

fashion spring trend 2016 soft blush pink shopping inspiration

So we talked soft pink this week (here) and I told you I hadn’t seen that much of it in store yet, even though it’s going to be a huge spring trend. That was before I went browsing online, finding out that there is actually quite something to be found. Especially if you just type in pink as a search term on ASOS, so much pops up. I can always trust what is probably my favorite online store ever to find me exactly the stuff I’m looking for. So here’s what I found and loved, and 1 of the jumpers is already on it’s way to me. Can you guess which one?

spring 2016 color fashion trend soft pink blush

This week’s moodboard is in a color you’ve probably never seen me in: pink. The only time I remember wearing pink is last year when I had an Acne bomber in soft pink, which I gave to a friend who loved it even more than I do. I might have to borrow it from him though, because the soft pink is really growing on me lately. It’s also one of the biggest color for this coming spring. I walked through the city yesterday visiting a few stores but I haven’t seen that much pink in stores yet. That will hopefully change soon, because I would mind a cute pink jumper to soften my look a little.

How do you guys feel about this trending color? Do you ever wear pink?

As we’re headed towards the end of the year, it’s time for more shiny fabrics, luxury and party-wear. I’m more the kind of girl to wear Christmas sweaters than short party-dresses, but I’m all about that little extra. Like a satin-like fabric, my preferred way to add some shine this season..
