What to wear?

street style inspiration spring summer 2016 ss16

Every now and then I am completely clueless when it comes to what to wear. I suddenly feel like everything in my wardrobe is old and stupid and I have no idea how to dress, or what I even want to look like. On these days, I thank Pinterest. Because this morning I felt exactly like this and started looking on Pinterest for some fresh spring street style inspiration, and boy did I find it. All of a sudden I’m inspired again and about to order light denim dungarees and am ready for short skirts in the coming days, in which the weather will be divine. And as sharing is caring, here some of the images I was inspired by. Find more on my Pinterest page!

I absolutely love this picture of me and my best friend Arjen, taken at the opening party of the Student Hotel in Amsterdam. Boy that was a party. Big shoutout to this handsome guy, who’s always there for me and who I have so much fun with! And yes girls, he’s still single!

Sunday chic

It’s not always sweatpants and slouch on Sundays. Today I was really in the mood to dress up, especially since I got this new top this week and wanted to wear it. Love how it’s half-peplum and something different than what I usually wear. The pleated skirt is also a winner, I get a lot of clothes at Monki lately and I’m pretty happy about the edgy styles that are really affordable.
Admittedly, I am changing into sweatpants as we speak because it’s time for a lazy afternoon. Actually, my whole weekend has been quiet but I kind of like it. What have you guys been up to?

Happy Sunday!

Top: Monki
Skirt: Monki
Trainers: Nike Air Force 1

A night at the Student Hotel

student hotel amsterdam city review opening

Last week I attended the opening of the new Student Hotel Amsterdam City. A huge hotel located in the building where famous club Trouw used to be. It’s now a gorgeous hotel with restaurant The Pool that has delicious food. The rooms are really nice, spacious and on trend and the bed was just a dream. The afterparty was insane, but a good hotel room and breakfast cures any hangover. Definitely a new hot spot in town, go check it out when you’re around!
